The title is apt for the book. The book reveals little secrets of life & is about the journey & self discovery of the protagonist.
 It is the debut book of the AUTHOR but doesn’t look like one.

It is so well researched & full of knowledge that it ceases to be anything but a debut.
 It took the author 4.5 yrs in the making & is inspired by the author’s real life incidents.
 190pages, 25 chapters long, it’s been divided into 2 parts.
 The NARRATION is in Simple language but very effective.
 Writing style is very descriptive with wide use of adjectives.
 There is use of vernacular Lang. at some instances.
 Murphy law, Maslow’s hierarchy, Robert Frost…with special focus on Sikhism- mool mantra..The Golden Temple..Amritsar.
It is rich with pearls of wisdom & well knitted.
It keeps the reader glued to the book & pushes him to read on the next chapter, always building curiosity in the process.
 It’s a wonderful story of self realisation which is inspiring at the same time.
 The book talks about passion, destiny, reason, purpose, love, God & life.
 It operates on 2 parallel TIMELINES, in one, the present day scenario, the story- telling is happening & in the other it is the past, where the story had actually happened.
 There are conversations/ intro before almost every chapter which further intrigues the reader.
 To be true, I had anticipated to finish the book in 2 sittings, but every chapter got me so involved..forced me to introspect my own life & ponder..and made me realise why the book is named BREATHING SECRETS.

⚫ GRUESOME & NAUSEATING..there are so many cases..so many truths..that are told in this book.

◼️ I felt PRIVILEGED to be able to read such a compilation of real life encounters..pretty soon after the memoir was released.

⚫ I find myself incapacitated to review such a plethora of first-hand accounts.. but I tried my best to write a short synopsis of my take of the book..

◼️ The book is THOUGHT-PROVOKING & has the potential to give one nightmares..

⚫ This book shows that jailers are also imprisoned & trapped in their own system.

It is but possible that the ancients were not oblivious to the concept of gender transformation either.

 It’s a short pocket book, 233 pages divided in 7 main chapters.

 It’s one of the finest books which discusses everything under one cover.

 The book begins with an Introduction, it goes on to discuss experiences & evidences of personalities like @SwamiYogananda among others, then it shows its connection to science (this part was a bit boring for me although I am from a science background- but feel it was necessary maybe), the Hindu perspective (my favourite part), talks about spirituality, meditation ( forms, techniques etc) & the end gives references & acknowledgements.

My most favourite thing about the book was the easy language, loads of examples & stories knitted to make things more interesting & understandable.

 The author, #RenjiPanicker is a software engineer & an entrepreneur, GM of a Robotics start-up in Pune working in the domain of AI.

Those who have knowledge of one ( science or spirituality), donot know enough of the other.

 This book attempts to bridge the gap.

 It’s a must read for seekers, not for sceptics.

 The book is well researched & the author has taken references from upanishads, various web portals, books etc to explain in detail the concepts & the connection.

 The author has primarily focussed on The Hindu religion, it’s link with science & the various concepts of spirituality & meditation.

 My vote goes to the author for writing such a book, for doing such an elaborate research, for bringing both the concepts, science & spirituality under one roof.

It’s a great book & bring focus on the actual REASON/ Priority of our being, our life.
