Love to hurt you

Love to hurt you
By
Rahul Saini.
Please go through the images & the preface (very important & PRECISELY written by the author) first.
Main characters: Sasha, Maya, Garun.
The story:
Sasha:
the woman who has money, power & loves to take out her anger/ hurt on the world.
She has become a monster, an ugly wreck of a person
But WHY is she angry & is her method of recovery from her hurt alright?
READ THE BOOK FOR THAT!
Maya:
A famous author..but in depression..WHY?
READ THE BOOK!
Garun:
A cool, muscular dude..a psychopath..
He wants to become the biggest living author..
He goes to what extent for that..& more??
READ THE BOOK!
The climax:
How are these three connected?
IS LOVE, ROMANCE OVERRATED?
For some, love is everything & this passion can turn them into voracious devils that turn to the world to take out their hurt & punish acc to their own laws..
IS POWER, MONEY, INFLUENCE…A MAJOR FACTOR WHICH ALLOWS PPL TO GO CRAZY AND HAVE SADISTIC PLEASURES FROM THE WORLD??
IS LOVE STILL PURE & ETERNAL..???
So much so that it can also cause you to dwell in depression..
CAN THE ZEAL/ FIRE TO LIVE, SPARK UP AGAIN EVEN AFTER BEING IN DEPRESSION & AN ALMOST DEAD STATE????
WHAT IS THE INFLUENCE OF UNRESTRICTED, UNCENSORED MATERIAL AVAILABLE EASILY ON VARIOUS PLATFORMS ON ONE’S MIND?????
The Moral:
We can come out of our evil “BOG/ QUAGMIRE” only OURSELVES.
We can come out of our DEPRESSION only OURSELVES.
The end of evil is always evil. KARMA.
………………………………………………………..
My take:
It is about the present ‘lot of people’ who unlease their evil reckless side influenced by “n” number of things..much like the inhuman ppl we read about in newspapers etc.
It’s a thriller, a mystery, kind of an erotica, steamy, lustful encounters explained in extreme detail..repulsive..DARK..talks also about depression.. hallucinations..about greed & the most evil a “homo sapien” can get.
It is a quick read as the language, narration is simple and book length moderate.
The author says ” the idea was to make the reader sink into the minds of the characters, love or hate them for who they are..”..& that’s what exactly happened with me as a reader.
I hated the characters so much that I wanted to stop reading further but..a curiosity..a belief that something more must be there in the story..I need to have patience and read on..kept me going & I was not disappointed.
I have mentioned in the images, some lines I accidentally came across..& they well described Sasha & Maya.
For Garun..I feel there are many Garuns roaming around, greedy for money n sadist..the reality of today’s world.
The story keeps you on the edge till the end!!!
The ending is the most important according to me for it connects the trio and gives out the Moral, which is so much the need of the hour.
The adult stuff, descriptions were a bit more than my liking..but I liked the story as a whole.
Not for young readers.
This book took 5years in the making. The author was writing 2 books side-by-side. The other book should be out next year. He had to do a lot of research for that. Both are independent stories.

Daughters of the brothel- book review.

‌Narration:

The narration was beyond my expectation.
I had expected the book to be stories about sex workers obviously & was expecting lewd kind- of adult stuff too..& that is why I was sceptical to read the book initially.
BUT ON READING THE BOOK, I was amazed how the author has given each & every detail in a very sober manner, very gracefully, sensibly.

‌Crux:

In the 1st chapter, the protagonist meets Sharmila Prakash, a Eunuch/hijra on a train journey while going to a village near Lucknow to meet Munni’s (a sex worker in Delhi) family & Sharmila was returning after 9 years to see her family.

Chapter 2 …he begins narrating the story of how he met Munni & other sex workers in Delhi’s favourite red light area..

Workers like Kareena, of brothel no. 56 donot give out their real name & have consciously entered this flesh market.

The book is full of research & information. There is differentiation explained between Eunuchs, transgender (AMAB- assigned make at birth) & transsexual ( a medical term).

Article 21 of the constitution guarantees every sex worker a right to life like an ordinary person.

Then there is history of the subject, how & when it was legalised, references in vedic literature, bifurcation & classes of prostitutes.

Prostitution is an organised trade which functions legally as well as illegally.

There are few sentences in Hindi dialect to emphasize the essence ( and then explained in English).

The author talks about the misery of those living in brothels, the role of police…
He also talks about religion in context of people living in brothels..

‌Final thoughts:
All of this and more… knitted in the heart touching tales of Delhi’s red light district..with a beautiful narration by the author in a fairly simple language.
( There are negligible editing errors which can surely be overlooked).

A definite read for a reality check of what’s happening around us in the real world.
Kudos to the author for choosing & writing about such a subject!

A drop of you by Krishna Chhetrii.

A perfect romance novel, a bit too much for me personally..there are elaborate explanations & writings about each & every emotion of love..the nitty gritties when a couple is in love.. Each chapter has poetry to enhance it, which is nice. There is mention of Gulzar, Mirza Ghalib, Fauz Ahmed Fauz, Rumi etc and their work.

The story is a love triangle between
childhood friends, Karma & Diana and Ghazal.

Diana loves Karma, Karma loves Ghazal.

The situation is not that complex since Diana is understanding.

Well, but how can a love story be without a villian, right?! So Sadah( Karma’s friend Abhy’s girlfriend) Ghazal’s friend comes into the picture.
She incites Ghazal against Diana & Karma’s friendship..which eventually causes a riot..later Ghazal goes out to have an affair..Sadah tells Karma about it. Finally Ghazal realises her mistake & wants to come back to Karma.

but……. Karma does something which shocks everybody.. Then the story fast forwards 10years..and the present scenario & emotions of all the characters are discussed.

In this story, Diana is deeply rooted in religion, faith & God whereas Karma is the exact opposite.

The SOUL loves LOVE, LOVE is mad about the HEART & the HEART listens to the SOCIETY & ruins everything.

For knowing THE END..you will have to read the book! (Going through the attached images is essential as Instagram has a word limit..so I could not write all of it here..) A nice romantic read, essential for those especially in LOVE. The moral is very important.

Do you read more than one book at the same time? Book juggling..

Hi there!!

I am mostly a fan of paperback books but..lately I have started reading books on kindle @amazonkindle and I am kind of liking it!

With the festival season at peak, marriages, birthdays..I am unable to keep my generally relaxed routine of leisurely reading one book at a time.

So I am experimenting with reading a few books at the same time! And to make it interesting I have made up a collection of different genres
also different formats, I am reading kindle as well as paperback!

I hope to sustain and survive through!! Being a mom and a wife, I am as it is juggling stuff, so I thought why not add to it Pls share your view.

Do you or can you read more than one book at the same time, do you juggle reading books??
