Published in December 2019, The Feeling Of Being Loved is written by author Raviraj Mishra.

This is his 2nd book and 1st in fiction genre.
His previous book was ” 11 Stories: The stories of life, love and everything” published in May 2019.

The Cover of this book is very pretty & simple. Designed by Pooja Sonone it shows a girl depicting a heart through her hands/fingers and standing alone in front of the vast ocean. And that’s the exact idea, plot behind the story. So the cover is apt for the book.

The Title is very meaningful and perfect for the story line. In the entire story, the protagonist is running after this very feeling, the feeling of being loved and it’s in the end that she understands the true meaning of this feeling. Well, that’s the climax or turning point in the story, which is won’t reveal as it would act as a spoiler.

#blurb  Shruti, a software engineer has a wish to be truly loved by someone. In her journey, she has two companions – Meera and her talking rational mind. Her idea of love and respect guides her to take some strong decisions. The feeling of being loved is the story of those rational decisions taken by a distracted mind to
make things alright.

Characters: Shruti (protagonist), her best  friend Meera, Avinash (guest appearance), Abhishek.

The Storyline is fabulous and of a girl running after love. Any and every marriageable age girl can relate to this story, when parents want her to get married, when she is full of insecurities, when she wants fairytale love to happen in her life..a girl who has a rational, agony aunt  in her best friend who always protect and advise her for the best.

Narration is pretty simple, Language used is also very crisp and clear. A quick read.

I found the Ending to be the best part of the story.

I read the KINDLE EDITION & am loving the experience of READIng ebooks.

I genuinely believe that the PROLOGUE gives way to the FEEL, GENERAL VIBE of the BOOK & I never miss reading it.

All the ADJECTIVES that one can think of, for a thriller, put together would be insufficient to completely summarise this book.

Main CHARACTERS: Manas, Rishi, Rudra.

The book, begins with the friendship between Manas & Rishi (childhood friends).

Excerpt:
The funny thing about friendship or any relationship for that matter is that you don’t realize how strong your relationship is until it is put to the toughest of tests. If you come out as a stronger person along with your partner, the bond is eternal.

It moves on further with their daily chores, mundane life, family, relations & boyish stuff..

The story starts taking a new turn when Rishi starts having VISIONS, Dreams which feel like reality, hallucinations..

Manas also notices a difference in Rishi sometimes but is unable to put a finger on it..

From here the story encompasses the introduction of a new character Rudra, his present..past..

Then it comes to the crux..the main plot..the VILLAGE VAGHAN..also known as a Ghost Village..a village controlled by Mortal Gods.

How is this village connected with Rudra❓ with Manas & Rishi❓with Rishi’s dreams, visions..❓ how is their destiny connected with VAGHAN ❓ will they be able to make it through, survive the ordeal❓
There are gruesome murders happening in VAGHAN, will they be able to solve this mystery while keeping their sanity intact❓

Published by @vishwakarmapublishers in Sep.2018 this is a sure shot top notch thriller.

The prologue alone had the capability to give me goosebumps.

As we dig deeper into the book, it gets spin chilling & nerve wracking.

It’s a thriller with a very unique, very unpredictable plot. Full marks for the storyline.

The title is very different & catchy.

Cover is mysterious & done by @mandalabhattacharya

The language is pretty simple & narration is very descriptive.

It’s full of horror & suspense.

The sword on top of the title of each chapter is very spooky & eye catching.

This book talks about friendships, relationships, detailed action sequences, power in the hands of few who dictate the weak, visions, hallucinations, dreams, herbs & medicines, police, murders- worse than man-eaters, superstitions, horror, other realms, soul..and a lot more.

It’s gripping, will keep you captivated, reading 1 chapter after the other on the the edge of your seat feeling like a roller coaster ride.

The story ends on a cliffhanger to give way to the next book in the series.

I feel anyone can read it, it’s a beauty.
