Although lengthy, it’s uNpUtDoWnAbLe, it’s hopeful, it’s gives one positivity & optimism.

 There are 99 very SIMPLE but THOUGHT PROVOKING, UPLIFTING poems/ words in this book.

 I LOVE the COVER & the TITLE is TRUE to it’s name & contents.

 The book talks about stuff, our FEELINGS, which we may or may not SHARE WITH anyone but..ourselves..with our CONSCIOUSNESS..

 It HELPS US DEAL with our troubles, sorrows, fears & worries.

 It hammers on the POWER of PRAYER, FAITH, GOD, HOPE & your own KARMA.

 iNtErEsTiNgLy, the poet addresses God as a ‘she’ & not a ‘he’.

 Most of all, it’s very POSITIVE & gives you  LIGHT IN PURE DARKNESS. HOPE is something which keeps us going..
When hope is lost, the inner flame within us diminishes..

 Point in focus: the STRESS, DEPRESSION, SUICIDE attempts plaguing our being..esp nowadays..

Being hopeful, positive.. to be able to look forward/ forth towards your future is crucial for a being.

When hope is lost, everything is lost.
That tiny little spark  dies, inside us.

To Keep That Flame Alive, IS THE UTMOST RESPONSIBILITY & TASK OF MANKIND.
and this book helps in doing just that!

Tbh i didn’t find the poetry, out of this world, exemplary butttttt…..
It does it’s job bEaUtiFuLly ❤️ of UPLIFTING YOUR SPIRITS & giving you HOPE.

Even the Afterword is full of wisdom & has my markings & highlights all over the place!

Another interesting portion is a TOOLKIT at the end, with apps for reference of the reader to work on his various aspects. Wow!

MY TAKE:

The story begins with 3 college friends meeting after a 25 year gap & how their discussion about social media gives way to a start-up, an app & how gradually on the journey, each of their true facets come out & how their lives change.

In-between this StOrYLiNe, we get a lot of knowledge about social media handles, fake likes & engagements, Maslow’s Hierarchy- aww how I remembered my MBA classes here & economics & about the demographics of people, about the privacy of our data & a lot lot more!!

All of this but the lang. is fairly simple & the read is very very in context with the present times.

I really loved it & their was not a single minute of monotonous stuff or boredom.

It submerges & enlightens you as you go along.

We need a phone life balance in our daily lives to manage stress.

Technology is not a Gillian, but it needs to be managed to realise our potential.

The story presents a problem as we go forward but a solution too, in the end.
