Welcome to the MYSTERY CRACKERS SERIES, Book 1- A Chest’s Tale.

This book is pUrE NoStALgiA!!

It brought back memories of SECRET SEVEN, my first mystery series, as a kid.
I remember we could get only 1 book issued per week from the library. Me & my friend would choose our reads and keep an eye on em.
When the time to get it issued used to come, we used to rush to our reads n pick em up before anyone else did
And then finish it on that day itself! Later we used to exchange our books n enjoy!
Good ol’ school days.

️️ #qotd Share a school memory.

️️ Do you remember Hero Bicycle, Maruti Van, Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 & Samsung Galaxy Note 3❓

Well, this read brought all those memories back.

It’s a 46 page mystery series for age: 10-18 yes; Grade: 5-12 available for INR 49/- @amazonkindle
Published in 2014, this is book 1.

The 2nd book is Tattooed Music, available for INR 99/-; published in 2018.

Storyline:
Nish (Nishant) & Prash (Prashant) are fraternal twin brothers & Hri (Hriday) is their best friend.

They are around 14years of age.

Nish & Prash father is a scientist.
Hri’s father is a well known antique collector.

There’s a grumpy policeman, Golu, too for supporting role.

Nish & Prash have girl friends too, Anjali & Sanjana and together they form a strong team.

They are smart, intelligent, brave, courageous & also good at acting/ faking drama.

In brief, there a riddle/puzzle to solve, thieves, floods, kidnapping, a golden chest, a clue, a historical element & also a nosy neighbor.

The location is a small hill station of Jhiljila.

This book is the Indian vErSion of Enid Blyton or Franklin w. Dixon mystery series.

Well written, keeps the interest alive till the end.

A fresh bReAtHeR from heavy reads, for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

A light, interesting, peppy, quick, simple read with ample twists to maintain the pace.

Writing a children’s book is a humongous tAsK coz maintaining their interest is not easy, but the author has done a fab job at that!

There are few illustrations too peppered here & there.

Totally recommend for middle grade kids!
